Set Up Your Organizations.
Your Organizations are created for you by the Liberty91 team when your account is activated. What is left for you to do is populate each one with as much relevant data as possible and choose where its data is hosted. The richer the data, the more specific and useful the reporting Liberty91 produces. This page explains what to add and why it matters.
What an Organization is
An Organization represents a company, government entity, or business unit that you protect. If you are an MSSP or an ISAC, each customer is an Organization; inside a larger company, each business unit with a distinct profile can be its own Organization. To learn how Organizations shape every analysis, see Organizations.
Populate each Organization
The more an Organization's agent knows, the better it tailors analysis and reports. Add detail in these ways:
- Choose the hosting region. Decide in which region you want the data associated with this Organization to be hosted and processed.
- Add Assets. Record the technologies the Organization hosts, with the IP addresses or domains they sit on. See Assets and Hosts.
- Add Suppliers. Record the third parties the Organization depends on. See Supply chain.
- Upload Documents. Seed the Organization with corporate identity documents, network maps, threat profiles, or anything that helps the agents understand it. See Seed Organization documents.
You can run an Organization with just a name, region, and sector, but reporting will be relatively generic. Adding Assets, Suppliers, and documents is what makes the platform's output specific to that Organization.
Frequently asked questions
Do I create Organizations myself?
No. The Liberty91 team creates your Organizations when they activate your account. Your job is to populate them with relevant data and choose each one's hosting region.
